2. Define the vegetation area

Through Unity’s scene window we define the vegetation area by adding points when we left-click with the mouse. We simply cast a ray from mouse screen coordinates (Unity: ScreenPointToRay) and check for intersection with the ground. If there is an intersection the point is added in the vegetation area list. Using the edit area mode we can move or delete a point.
